Amanotes moves 50% of their inventory to app bidding after seeing an increase in ARPDAU and operational efficiencies




Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Vietnam, Amanotes develops and publishes games that deliver interactive music experiences, primarily for hypercasual and casual gaming audiences. They have a catalogue of over 30 titles, including Magic Tiles 3, Dancing Ballz, and Tiles Hop.

Challenge

The publisher promotes a large catalogue of games across different markets, as a result, managing their waterfall mediation to achieve the best possible eCPMs, became time consuming and required intense focus.
Amanotes wanted to work with Audience Network to find a solution that would improve their operational efficiency as well as help the team understand and identify the best offers from their ad partners.

Solution

They adopted ironSource bidding when it became available on mobile, making them an early adopter, especially for large-scale campaigns. Amanotes saw this as an opportunity and worked with Audience Network on integration and performance tests on a small scale to gain insights and best practices.
After finding success with bidding, Amanotes scaled and tested it on interstitial and rewarded video ad formats with their title Dancing Road. The game publisher is now extending bidding to its entire portfolio.

Results

By switching to bidding on Audience Network, Amanotes has been able to reduce the time spent on optimizing their revenue sources as well as found significant efficiencies in identifying the best eCPMs from their partners. As a result, they have seen a revenue uplift in their smaller markets, as well as the following results:
